  Anyone who has done business with B of A knows they have horrible service - they rely on the high costs to change banks, and crappy service of competitors to stay in business. Despite the low expectations I obviously have, this branch managed to shock even me with a new low in customer indifference. When I stood in line and was called by a teller, I asked to do a wire transfer, as I have on many occassions previously. I was told my options were to wait half an hour or make an appointment for another date. Seriously, they now expect people to make appointments or face absurd waits for simple services. They were quite unapologetic, and the manager a bit of a jerk (in his officially superficially polite way) - he thought I was nuts to expect prompt service. Fortunately there is a third option, to do my banking through Vanguard funds which has both better rates and service.
